Cleaning was great. I had a couple fillings and I’ve had better jobs done.
I’ve been to several places in Provo and I have hated every dentist that I have gone to. Paul Nielsen and his staff are just great. They have done fillings very well for me, and they are so nice. My wife hates dentists because of an idiot dentist when she was younger and she really appreciates how Paul Nielsen works so friendly and professionally.
I once had to wait longer than expected and although I was simply sitting in a massage chair watching a movie, they still brought me a gift certificate to the University mall to make up for me having to wait. I think they do a wonderful job serving their customers. I have no idea if they are more expensive than other dentists, but I know I love how well they take care of my family.
The staff were horrible. Do they not teach professionalism in “staff school” or wherever they learn “staffing”? There were two receptionists who were whispering in each others’ ears and laughing when I was standing at the counter waiting for Her Royal Highness to help me out. I know there are a million funny things in this world but seriously?

I go to dr Bennett at Advanced Dental. He is the Man. I have never been to a better dentist. He is so professioinal and pain free. He has all of the latest hardware and software.
I would recommend Dr Bennett.
Dr Bennett at Advanced Dental is amazing. He is quite young and is already a Fellow among his peers. His chair side manner is awesome and his work is so spot on you will be amazed.
Nice office. The staff and the dr’s were all great. Dr. Nielsen got my kids all taken care of on the same day, that was great with my busy schedule.
Dr Nielsen is so patient with my son who can be very difficult. I appreciate the time that he and his assistant Martha spend taking care of him. They are really great!
I am very disappointed with Provo Dental Care and Dr. Nielsen in particular. After years of routine checkups with no problems with my teeth (with two different dentists), I ended up at Provo Dental Care due to an insurance change. I left the office reeling. I was told that I had 3 cavities and that my on-lay (a precursor to a crown) needed to be removed and replaced. In addition, I was told that I needed to replace all of my fillings and also wear a mouth guard to bed to help prevent the significant wear that was occurring when I was sleeping.
Needless to say, when I left the office, despite being shocked at what I had just been told and wondering how to pay for it since finances were tight at the time, I decided not to do anything for the time.
In addition to my “diagnosis”, the rest of my family were all told that they had one or more cavities that needed to be filled.
A month or so later, as a result of a job change and insurance change, our family went back to our prior dentist for a checkup. You will be interested to know that none of us were found to have any cavities. The dentist said my prior filings looked great and my teeth looked healthy (this was without me saying anything about my prior experience with Dr. Nielsen and Provo Dental Care).
Unfortunately, we did have my youngest daughter get her cavity filled (fortunately not a permanent tooth). If we had followed through with the treatment, our family would have been out probably a few thousand dollars for no good reason.
I advise you to beware. I will not be going back and would certainly not recommend Dr. Nielsen to anyone (despite the fact that he seems to be a nice person). Sorry for the lengthy review, but I hope it may be of use.
I have always enjoyed going to the dentist even as a kid, which is strange I know. But having the experience of being in a lot of different offices I have never been happier with an office as a whole and with the care that I was given. I am confident with Dr. Moody and have referred all my family members to him! He is great!
I had not been into a dentist for years and dreaded getting shots in my mouth. I was referred to Provo Dental Care and I had to get 5 cavities done! Preparing myself for the pain and shots! I was so surprised to leave there having not felt a thing. It was amazing and Dr. Moody was great at giving injections and I was impressed with the care that they gave me!
My daughter recommended me to come to this office and I have always dreaded to find a new dentist. I had my cleaning check up appointment and the doctor was so pleasant and kind. I had everything explained to me clearly and the girl cleaning my teeth did such a great job. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable!
I had to get my wisdom teeth out and I was very nervous. All the stories I heard weren’t good. I came to provo dental care and the assistant had explained everything to me and what I needed to do afterwards for recovery. Dr. Nielsen did the work for me and he was very gentle and caring about how I was filling and numbed me up really good! I left there thinking that was so easy and wasn’t a big deal at all. I totally recommend Dr. Nielsen he is great!
I hate the dentist. I don’t go unless I am in pain. I went to Provo Dental Care and was told about a pill that makes it so you can have an easier time getting your work done. I tried the pill for my appointment and it worked great! I was relaxed when I got to the dentist, don’t remember the shots or drilling and woke up and everything was done. My kind of dentist!
Never go to the dentist. My sister goes to provo dental care and said i should try them. i had the best experience that i think i could have at a dentist. I have alot of work that i need done because its been so long since i’d been to the dentist. i will go back to get my work done there.
